Yet Another Day Passes..

I suppose I have an obligation to post up pictures of my pathetic meals. :( You all better appreciate the food your mama/papa cooks.
At least you won't get unnecessary heartburn every few meals.

"What's that?"
"Chicken rice la. Abuden?"
"You sure onot?"
"How eat if not sure?"
"Dunno."
"Bodo."
" :) "
" :[ "
You know who you are. :3

Chilli sauce again? D:

More like chilli water la. Just got the slight flavour of chilli and ginger only. :(

I don't know if some of you wonder what is the environment I study in. I managed to discreetly snap a few pictures of the classroom during general maths. Meheh. Ninja power ranger. :P~~~

It's not so big. I think half of everyone in class knows my name. That's a relief. -.-

Not so much to learn every 2 hours.

But a really good view everytime. All the classrooms have these 4-5 feet tall windows behind. Though, even though is scalding hot outside, the airconditioning is crazy. Everyday I have to wear a freaking sweater/jacket so I don't freeze up. Some of the others don't even wear sweater/jackets and are able to stand it for the whole 2-4 hours straight of lessons. How arr? Kuching people must have thicker skin literally.

Classical symptom of a 'whiteboard-talker'. Though, she's not so bad. Willing to reteach if any of us don't get it. Provided she faces the whiteboard 75% of the time. General maths is once again one of the simpler subjects out of the subjects I'm taking.

Traded my phone number with 5 people today. 4 girls and a guy. It's like I'm only able to befriend the female species. D: How liddat? A Myanmarian(Myanmaran? Myanmian? Myanman?) Burmese(Fine, I used Google. SO?? =.=*) guy sat beside me and I let him borrow my papers to be photocopied. I hope he doesn't crease any of it. Everyone should know I'm a neat freak by now. He almost used a PEN to write notes on my copy. D: Omfgbbq??

It seems everyone concieved me as an unfriendly person.
:( Blame the stupid sepet eyes and my awkward height. My small head is so disproportional to my body la. Maybe I'm just retarded special in my own retarded unique way. ...nah.

Random thought: Hate the library. Too crowded and there is that constant clicking sound. CLICK CLICK CLICK. Grr.

Death By Teppanyaki. Or Not..?

...

It's scary la. I almost just wanted to eat the egg and beansprouts only. Terpaksa eat it all up due to the fact I didn't take away(see? it DOES sound like i would steal something) anything for freaking supper. Braddie heww..

Supposedly, it's Teppanyaki Chicken. "SUPPOSEDLY". This is almost like a food blog featuring canteen food that's gone horribly wrong. Needless to say, I ate it all up without any complications. No reason for them to put chilli anymore, so that's why my chicken looked oddly macabre-esque. But really, it tasted okay. Still prefer the beansprouts over everything else though. Just my taste. -.-"

I've also been scribbling my homework on my palm at the end of every lesson. I wonder why I'm so retarded. Maybe it's because I have no effing notebook. I don't know how to manage one anyway. I'd probably have that erasing compulsion again if I decide to write anything in it. What is my problem?

My problem is on my palm. Maybe it's a sign that I want a tattoo. Woo, that would be insanely bad ass. Providing it's not a butterfly. Or a unicorn. Which are pretty. *cough* *crazy*

I was so frustrated this afternoon because I don't have the effing Microsoft FrontPage program thingie to complete my freaking I.T. assignment due in 2 weeks. Hoping my aunt is able to get a pirated CD so I can install it into the laptop. I checked out microsoft.com if they let you download it for free. Obviously it wasn't. But there was one thing that caught my eye.

"Microsoft FrontPage has been discontinued blah blah blah-"

HELLO?? Why are we still learning to use it then? Should I tell my teacher about this and screw up the course onot? I wonder if this means we'll be 'ketinggalan zaman' if we use FrontPage in the future, because it's CLEARLY not going to be relevant once we graduate. Maybe I was right about hiring a professional to design your website for you, instead of making it yourself. After all, they're the ones who studied for it and would obviously do a better job than you would. D'oh. Oh ya, FYI, FrontPage is a program that makes constructing a website easier. It saves you time learning the HTML crap.

Bloody hell, it's 12.30. Over limit again. Shit shit shit. Need another stick of instant coffee for breakfast again. =.= Hmm, swearing of shit, I was expecting another shit bomb in the toilet today since it's April Fool's. Also realized this is the only April Fool's that's on a Monday that I can recall. Every year back in secondary school April Fool's was either on a Saturday or a Sunday. Could never find a reason to throw doggie gold at people in school ba.. :(

Slightly drowsy,

Are They Trying To Kill Me?

Take a look at this beef rendang from Chilli Peppers.

Seems fine right?

See the colour? It's freaking topped with chilli oil. Wad heww lar. When I ate it I immediately teared because of the sudden heat intensity.

SO SPICY GUA.

Is beef rendang supposed to be so spicy? Back in Miri, the beef rendang in the nasi lemak is never this spicy, or even spicy at all. There's spice, and the shredded lemon leaves, but never so much dried chilli powder. What have I done to offend them? Sure, I have misused 'Ya Allah'. But only in Miri! The malays must be connected. Like the Taliban or something. And now, they want to burn my insides for such profanity. D:

I threw away 3 quarters of the whole thing. Coulden't take anymore. Right now as I type, I can feel the heat in my tummy. Why do I deserve this?.. Next time I order spaghetti oso got diced bird's eye chillies inside. Blardie..

At least got.. This?..

Uhm.. This fish burger tasted phunkie too. I swear, they are out to get me. Why did the tartar sauce(?) taste sour? Or was it the chilli sau- NAH, GOT CHILLI SAUCE OSO.

Aih, now I'm free to do as I please. Just now I did a group experiment with 2 girls on the same table, Juliana and Shirley. Let me tell you, they aren't ah-lian at all, just for the fact that they spoke PROPER ENGLISH. Let me say it again, PROPER ENGLISH. I'm like, so freaking happy that the chinese people here know how to speak PROPER ENGLISH. They are SO much smarter than the ones in Miri too. And they don't revert back to speaking chinese when I'm still around. That is so polite of them. Or maybe they usually talk to each other in english. Whatever the reason, it's a good thing. Even the guys, with very obvious ah-beng phunkie hair, have no trouble speaking english when they have to. The ah-bengs and ah-lians here are top quality nerhxx.

Oh, another thing I want to tell you people is the printing service they provide here. It's not free, and it costs.. 10 sen a copy, be it photocopied or printed. No colour. I was like, 'wak thurr hare'. Luckily, my parents left me enough money so I could afford all that. My first try was a mess, I spent my first RM1.10 on blank paper. Lololol. Felt so dumb when I took it out. Didn't want to ask the librarian for more help because they looked as though they knock me out with an encyclopedia if I ever asked them for help again. Bleh. Noob mahhhhhhh. :(

I think that's all I can say for now. And the added fact that I'm kind of scared of Chilli Peppers. Though, needless to say, I'll still eat the food there. :'(

Seemingly paranoid,
The Milkman

There's Something In The Air..

Just came back from Miri last night. I have to say that it was still very emotional for me to be seperated again. There's just something about the Miri air that gives me comfort. I breathe it in, and savour the humid air. It's just so addictive. As soon as I arrived back in Kuching though, the air felt cold. Not just at the airport, but Kuching as a whole. Maybe it's because it was already late. D'oh..

Anyways, when I was back in Miri, a new baby has replaced me. She's only 5 or 6 days old and is a mix of indian and native. Needless to say, it wasn't dark skinned. If it was, my grandma would lose it at night. :x

Here are some pics of the babeh.

You pervert!

Now, I'm not someone who likes babies a whole lot. I even wished there was a baby spray thing that knocks out babies with just a spritz to the face. But it didn't cry so much, so I didn't throw it off the balcony. :x

Yee, like tio possessed. *shakes little bag of chicken bones*

PERVERT!

This was nice.

'Aww' moment. Oh no.. PERVERT!

I just remembered, the rubber suckie thingies are called 'teats'. AHAHAHAHAHA. Gosh, that is so wrong.

Now, if there was something like a baby spray, this is what would happen, basically. "Omfg, could you, like, just K.O. your baby for just a little while? Am trying to study." *pshhhhhhht* *K.O.*

Red indian. Geeheehee.

So, even though I was back in Miri, I still had to finish up my homework. It wasn't so hard, but I recently developed this compulsion to erase and rewrite words until I'm satisfied with how they look. Maybe it's a minor case of OCD. I wonder if anyone else has it. I hate my eraser.

Right, after coming back to Kuching and being sent back to the hostel by my aunt, I was suddenly struck with a strong urge to pee. Don't ask me why. When I settled threw my stuff in the room, I quickly rushed to the bathroom. Little did I expect to see this.

FYI, the black specks are pieces of shit. I don't know who the fack did this, but I expect he has irritable bowel syndrome(IBS, though not the International Bra Studio in Miri). Seriously, who the hell can blast his shit all over, not to mention even reaching OUTSIDE the rim of the toilet bowl. I mean, if you see clearly(and ignore the fact I'm asking you to observe pieces of shit), it's like he was SQUATTING while he let it 'go'. He literally 'shat' all over the toilet bowl. There's a fucking water spray on the side of the toilet bowl, the least he could do was fucking water it all down. Or did his fucking projectile shit land on the fucking water spray too? His parents would be proud of their shit bomber son. I'm not saying that he's a retard or anything for having 'shat' all over the toilet bowl, but seriously la, is it SO hard to wash away your bombed shit? What's more..

He didn't flush.

Bloody hell.

And he's not the only one that doesn't flush after a crap session. Some of these people never flush after pee-ing or crapping. What is this? A personal trophy? To see how dark your pee can get if you just save it up in one toilet bowl? What. The. HELL! It's only one stupid button to press once you're done, and it refills in like, 10 seconds so you could even double-flush if you wanted to. Your toilets at home cannot flush ar?
Bloody hell x182927492.

Annoyed considerably,
The Milkman.

28 March 2008

Whoa, Pedasss !!

Take a look at what I had for dinner.

Looks like a normal dinner you would tapao for yourself right?

It's actually the baked sambal chicken from Chilli Peppers just outside my hostel. I can tell you, my shit will be damn spicy. I might even blow up the toilet bowl. Ok, not so power la. But it tasted good. Just too spicy. Now drinking milk hoping that my tummy doesn't feel so 'pedas'. Culinary high. Huhuhue~ :3

Going back to Miri tomorrow~ So happy about tha-.. Wuah, rasa pedas reach my bum jor. :x

I should really remind myself not to take these kinds of spicy foods anymore. My face has been getting 1 small pimple each week. I mean, it's not as though it's the holocaust la, just apply methylated spirit on it for 10 minutes and it will be gone the next day(providing it was masak when you popped it) <----- AHAHAHA. 'Masak'. AHAHAHAAAAAA~

My classmates still think I'm weird though. Nobody wants to sit beside me or talk to me. Maybe I look mean and very ungivingadamnlish. Maybe it's also because I'm naturally anti-social. Lololol. Blurdy heww. How to make new 'Team Bodo' now? Nvm, 1 by 1. Gah.. :(

Forgot to mention about the 2 other things I tapao-ed(can you say tapao-ed? What's the past tense of take-away then? Took-away? Like that sounds like I stole the food. Wth..), which are 2 types of hotdog buns. Not just the buns, stupid. Got sausage inside. D-uh. Wak heww euu. <----- "What hell you". Sometimes I wonder if anyone really understands me. *grim*

... Ya, I was kind of 'wudafak' when I opened it too. But, substract the measly pieces of lettuce?

Uhh. This seems strangely disturbing somehow.. I think I lost my appetite.

Nya-ha! THIS is what I paid RM3.50 for. Ya, it's RM3.50. I don't know if it's expensive or not. Food is food wad. Nyum nyum. Who says you'll get skinny once you move out of the house? I'm already skinny la.. but den, you get what I mean. Oops I farted. :x

Why the hell do I type everything I'm thinking of today? Maybe because I'm overjoyed that I'm going back home tomorrow for the weekend. Though I'm kind of panicking about my homework right now. Physics and EngiMaths(It's too long to type the whole thing out okay? Might sound like I'm boasting. Nye-heh~) to do by next Monday. It's around 40 questions altogether. *panics and tries to de-stress by burping*

Blardy heww, the song on the previous post is getting annoying. Keeps reminding me of the last night with my parents. Well, it's not really that grim la. Just that family moment you'd miss when you're actually away from them for this long.

Thinking of homework,

Just Another Day..

Had engineering maths and physics today. As usual, was very enjoyable. Not that it was fun to be in class, rather I understood everything. The questions were getting tougher too. Thankfully I was able to understand everything with just 1 question to the lecturer. Hopefully my luck doesn't run out. :)

Was tempted to take pictures of the teachers actually, to give you guys an idea of what I deal with everyday, but it would be awkward if the other students saw me talking pictures. They would think I might have something with the lecturers. Ewwwwww. D:

After physics though, I went to one of the many staffrooms to find the lecturer in charge of the Drama club in Swinburne. I met up with her and she gave me a short briefing on what they actually do. There's an acting workshop and whatever, but the thing I was most interested in was if there is going to be an inter-school, or rather inter-university, drama competition being held annually, like what I joined last year in Miri with my friends. You know what she said?

"I don't like competitions."

WHUAT?? Don't like competitions? How can you not like competitions. Then I asked her, "Oh, does that mean we won't be participating?". And she replied,

"Oh, no. I don't like the 'kiasu-ness' in competitions."

Hello, after university, you HAVE to be kiasu if you want to get a good job. Whether you like it or not. I can't believe the drama club here doesn't join competitions. I wonder how long since they haven't. Why would they need 'workshops' and 'writing discussions' if there wasn't anything to participate for? She said ultimately, they just perform in front of the university. HELLO. What's the point? So they can laugh at our futile attempt at comedy/drama/soi-ness?

I'm really into sportsmanship, team spirit and 'having fun', but seriously la, it's competition that brings out the best in people. Maybe the worst too, but everything has a price wad. I thought Swinburne was popular for winning competitions, but it turns out, they don't participate in organized events outside the campus. That is SO disappointing.

I so dislike the 'as long as we have fun in the end' mindset. If I just wanted to have fun, I would be stuck to my computer the whole day winning virtual games. I also asked her if we could go to watch the competition if there was any. She stuck to her, "Umm, I don't like competitions".

SO.

FREAKING.

DISAPPOINTING.

Nowonder this school isn't known for winning events. I bet INTI joins competitions. Don't know if they win any, but at least they get to participate in something which involves other campuses. So regretful. To think it's the only thing besides the student council I want to join. And even the student council only consists of 7-8 members only. Blardy heww. I think I'll just focus my attention on my studies and zhao.

...

WHEE!

I just got a call from my mummy and she says I'm coming home this Saturday morning. Geeheeheehee~ Can't type anymore. So happie. Wuhuhuhuhue~

Here's another before-after pic with Sarah and Grace. :D

Mathematics Can Be Exciting..

..When your teacher is exciting. In this case it wasn't, today.

General maths was so DULL. We had to study all that 'decimal places', 'significant figures' and 'percentages' crap. AT A SLOW PACE. We're not freaking autistic pls. The lecturer is a nice person, I will say that. But she's so 'whiteboard talker'. Meaning she has the tendency to face the whiteboard when she talks. I'm not blaming her for not being able to teach well. She makes us understand for sure, but please la, just skip over the uneccesary parts la. No one wants to be left behind the syllabus. ..'decimal places'.. -.-" Blardy heww..

Anyways, been tinkering with photoshop again. This time I think I did a better job though. More obvious now. Take a lookie at Lydia, taken from our drama competition day. :D

Though, I think it's pretty clear the pic has been 'screwed' with. I even gave her a free boob job. Looks kinda creepy though. Did I mention she was supposed to play a middle-aged, single mother? Eh heh.. At least she has nicer hair..

Hopefully class isn't so boring tomorrow. And physics is damn fun. The lecturer is definitely my favourite. She's like, Mdm. Hii of Kuching. Only with more actions. :D Omfg, I will SO love physics now. Though, Form 4 totally screwed my love of physics 'phoe shizzle'. Don't like english btw. The lessons are too long for a language subject. There should be MORE PHYSICS and MORE ENGINEERING MATHS.

WOOT~ AM GOING INSANE.

Significantly losing sense,

Omg? B3 Oso Not Enuf?

It's true. This morning during my science/engineering math class, the teacher said clearly, that those with B3 and below will have a hard time in this class. Not encouraging at all la. B3 enough oso la weiiiiiii... I think I was the only one that immediately bit my lip out of reaction from hearing that. So sad.

LUCKILY,

I was able to cope with this first session. I wonder if I'll have this much luck with the next few classes until the exam, 13 weeks from now. It's hard to imagine how fast a semester is. I guess 14 weeks away from home isn't so long after all. I'm learning alot of new things, and meeting new people.

General maths class today didn't have anything. I came to class and it was almost empty. Just the lecturer and two other girls doing their homework while waiting for the other class to begin. My timetable was screwed, and supposedly the class started a half hour before. Luckily not many would know what happened to me. Ngee-hee-hee.

And then there was I.T. class. I wonder why it's included in the package. Well, at least they teach you how to open your own website. But wouldn't you rather hire a professional if you actually want a website to advertise your company and whatnot? Hmm. Anyway, it was at the computer lab, so I guess the experience isn't as bad as yesterday, where they crammed 80+ students in 1 lecture hall. Nightmare.

Also, I've recently found out how to use photoshop for editing pictures during my free time(let's say, 3-4 hours everyday?). Let me post a before and after thingie. :3

WALAH YA ALLAH BING BANG BUNG!!!!!

Fine, maybe I'm still not so good at it. But at least I know how to remove matasepetness. I swear Sarah isn't always like that. :(

I think I want to have a nap before my 4.30 class. Another 2 hours. Bugger. Hopefully the canteen is still open at that time. If not, I go hungry today.

Mentally worn out,
The Milkman

24 March 2008

Missing Home.. Again..

Why are these outbursts of giving up always attacking my already weakened persona? I can't stand living like this, living everyday wishing I was home instead of here.

I want to eat every meal of the day with my parents.
I want to sleep in my old bed with my old wool blanket.
I want to talk with my parents while we watch Astro together.
I want to fall asleep on the couch whenever I feel like it.
I want to be able to say goodnight to my parents personally again.
I want to go shopping for groceries with my parents every Sunday.
I want to go to church with my father and pray for my family.
I want to sit at the back seat of the car listening to my parents talk.
I want to be able to see my parents, my granma and my cousin.
I want to be there incase they need my help for anything.
I want to refill my mother's water bottle so she doesn't go thirsty.
I want to laze around the house and be around people I love.
I want to end my day curling up in my bed with 2 blankets.

I want to go home.

I pray to God to make this easier for me. I want to give up and leave this place so badly.

Emotionally drained,
The Milkman

First Day of School (2008).

Have a 2-hour break right now. Before this I had Physics, then English, then IT.

Physics was okay. Felt kind of stupid when the lecturer asked me what the S.I. unit of volume was, because I had completely forgot what it was. So I dumbassedly asked the girl sitting beside me and she told me the answers. Why doesn't everyone just FORGET?! D: Feeling of stupidity is going to consume me, I'm sure of it. Rarghhhh. Even so, the lecturer was good. Very friendly and makes faces at awkward moments. o.o"

English left much to be desired, really. But I guess we couldn't blame him, it was his first time teaching at Swinburne and he did not have access to the faculty resource room to photocopy, so I guess it's not his fault that he tried to talk his way through class about random things. There was this one question that he asked everyone. Something about any companies we know of in Sarawak that is linked to biotechnology. No one said anything for like, 5-7 minutes. He was still there asking, "So?.. Anyone?". It's kind of disturbing when you think about it.

I.T. class was really packed with students from all 1st semester courses. Of course, not all of them were there, but I had to pick the class with the most students picking that time slot. In all, there are 3 sessions per lesson, so if I missed an earlier one, I can just go to the next session. But I don't think I'm that type la.. The lecturer was okay, though the topic of discussion was very dull. Sitting positions and lighting and working conditions while using the computer and so on. It's like the auntie that keeps commenting on the way you sit. Very annoying in a way.

Also just finished two calls to both my parents. I guess I don't feel so bad now that I have some purpose while being here. Not sure about socializing, but that will come later in time for me, being the way I am. Before today, I had sudden bursts of sadness that just choked me. It's not that I didn't want to feel the way I did, but I thought I was able to control it. Very scary, your emotions. Praying to God every night before I sleep, the only thing on my mind is that He keeps my family safe and healthy. I hope He does.

I guess I'd better get some rest before the next class at 2.30. I suppose staying on campus has it's perks, being able to come back to your room whenever you like without troubling your parents. It's just the occupants that really annoy me. It's like they've never seen a door, and bang on it like they think it's made of rock, so that the other side can hear that someone is looking for them. It's so freaking unnecessary. Why don't they get styrofoam doors so they can bash the door open each time they want to ask someone to walk outside. GEEZ.

Getting increasingly annoyed as I type,

23 March 2008

Dear Parents,..

I will think of both of you everyday.

I hope you two take care of each other.

I wish I could change my decision.

I want to go home so badly now.

I miss home and home cooked food.

I thank God for this opportunity anyway.

But even more,

I thank God for blessing me with both of you.

My mum told me what the lyrics mean. I was just listening to the song because I liked it. Now that I know the meaning, I love it even more. Just something I want to share with all of you.

Lost and Lonely,
The Milkman

I Miss Home..

My parents flew back to Miri today. Feel crushed and empty. Wish there was a little more time to spend together. Feel so regretful not fully appreciating the time we had together while they were still in Kuching. I'd better stop typing about it. I'll save it for the next post. Getting that choking feeling.

Had orientation yesterday. Met Paulina's brother, Petrus. We also ended up on the same team. I named it 'Cow Farm'. Don't ask why. I was really thinking 'Cow Shit', but my self-restraint got the best of me. I also did not really take many pictures that day. Just a few here and there. :(

Here are the staff involved. The student council members were also there, but I didn't take pictures of them. Their president, as expected, had an ang-mo accent when speaking english. I don't know why, but I kind of dislike it. But whatever, he apparently does a good job at whatever he does. :/

Bla bla bla. Been there, been there, been there.

Thats the Springs to the left. Supposedly it is the property of some guys from Sibu. Sure Foochow guys wan. Sort of sick of it because whenever we go there, it's always for shopping for things I need. It's not really a place to sit down and rest anyway. The food outlets there are the usual, more expensive stuff like franchise coffee and costly nibbles and tidbits. I think I've mentioned it before that I got myself a Sushi King 10% discount card. The food there isn't as expensive as the Japanese food in Miri. In Miri, two pieces of Unagi(eel) on rolled rice would cost you maybe RM4-5, but here it's only RM2-3 or something like that. Forgot. Wah, I just noticed I typed so much just on this topic. :x Moving on.

Water tanks(?) and DiGi umbrellas. The hostel here only sells DiGi reloads. What about Maxis la. What's more, the Maxis connection is totally nulled in my room. No connection at all. Can get the stupid missed calls notification sms, but cannot recieve sms. Whereas DiGi has on/off connection. This means most of the time nobody can contact me while I'm in my room. I feel so secluded. :(

So bored now. It's only 6p.m. I think I'll just have a crap session and read a book. If you're wondering what I had for dinner, it was Maggi noodles. The 2 cafeterias don't open on Sundays. I will also have my first classes tomorrow. And the first class is Physics. I didn't sign up for Physics. I was so shocked because I just wanted Biology and Chemistry.
Feeling doomed.

Starving for Astro,
The Milkman
