Just Another Day..

Had engineering maths and physics today. As usual, was very enjoyable. Not that it was fun to be in class, rather I understood everything. The questions were getting tougher too. Thankfully I was able to understand everything with just 1 question to the lecturer. Hopefully my luck doesn't run out. :)

Was tempted to take pictures of the teachers actually, to give you guys an idea of what I deal with everyday, but it would be awkward if the other students saw me talking pictures. They would think I might have something with the lecturers. Ewwwwww. D:

After physics though, I went to one of the many staffrooms to find the lecturer in charge of the Drama club in Swinburne. I met up with her and she gave me a short briefing on what they actually do. There's an acting workshop and whatever, but the thing I was most interested in was if there is going to be an inter-school, or rather inter-university, drama competition being held annually, like what I joined last year in Miri with my friends. You know what she said?

"I don't like competitions."

WHUAT?? Don't like competitions? How can you not like competitions. Then I asked her, "Oh, does that mean we won't be participating?". And she replied,

"Oh, no. I don't like the 'kiasu-ness' in competitions."

Hello, after university, you HAVE to be kiasu if you want to get a good job. Whether you like it or not. I can't believe the drama club here doesn't join competitions. I wonder how long since they haven't. Why would they need 'workshops' and 'writing discussions' if there wasn't anything to participate for? She said ultimately, they just perform in front of the university. HELLO. What's the point? So they can laugh at our futile attempt at comedy/drama/soi-ness?

I'm really into sportsmanship, team spirit and 'having fun', but seriously la, it's competition that brings out the best in people. Maybe the worst too, but everything has a price wad. I thought Swinburne was popular for winning competitions, but it turns out, they don't participate in organized events outside the campus. That is SO disappointing.

I so dislike the 'as long as we have fun in the end' mindset. If I just wanted to have fun, I would be stuck to my computer the whole day winning virtual games. I also asked her if we could go to watch the competition if there was any. She stuck to her, "Umm, I don't like competitions".

SO.

FREAKING.

DISAPPOINTING.

Nowonder this school isn't known for winning events. I bet INTI joins competitions. Don't know if they win any, but at least they get to participate in something which involves other campuses. So regretful. To think it's the only thing besides the student council I want to join. And even the student council only consists of 7-8 members only. Blardy heww. I think I'll just focus my attention on my studies and zhao.

...

WHEE!

I just got a call from my mummy and she says I'm coming home this Saturday morning. Geeheeheehee~ Can't type anymore. So happie. Wuhuhuhuhue~

Here's another before-after pic with Sarah and Grace. :D

Mathematics Can Be Exciting..

..When your teacher is exciting. In this case it wasn't, today.

General maths was so DULL. We had to study all that 'decimal places', 'significant figures' and 'percentages' crap. AT A SLOW PACE. We're not freaking autistic pls. The lecturer is a nice person, I will say that. But she's so 'whiteboard talker'. Meaning she has the tendency to face the whiteboard when she talks. I'm not blaming her for not being able to teach well. She makes us understand for sure, but please la, just skip over the uneccesary parts la. No one wants to be left behind the syllabus. ..'decimal places'.. -.-" Blardy heww..

Anyways, been tinkering with photoshop again. This time I think I did a better job though. More obvious now. Take a lookie at Lydia, taken from our drama competition day. :D

Though, I think it's pretty clear the pic has been 'screwed' with. I even gave her a free boob job. Looks kinda creepy though. Did I mention she was supposed to play a middle-aged, single mother? Eh heh.. At least she has nicer hair..

Hopefully class isn't so boring tomorrow. And physics is damn fun. The lecturer is definitely my favourite. She's like, Mdm. Hii of Kuching. Only with more actions. :D Omfg, I will SO love physics now. Though, Form 4 totally screwed my love of physics 'phoe shizzle'. Don't like english btw. The lessons are too long for a language subject. There should be MORE PHYSICS and MORE ENGINEERING MATHS.

WOOT~ AM GOING INSANE.

Significantly losing sense,

Omg? B3 Oso Not Enuf?

It's true. This morning during my science/engineering math class, the teacher said clearly, that those with B3 and below will have a hard time in this class. Not encouraging at all la. B3 enough oso la weiiiiiii... I think I was the only one that immediately bit my lip out of reaction from hearing that. So sad.

LUCKILY,

I was able to cope with this first session. I wonder if I'll have this much luck with the next few classes until the exam, 13 weeks from now. It's hard to imagine how fast a semester is. I guess 14 weeks away from home isn't so long after all. I'm learning alot of new things, and meeting new people.

General maths class today didn't have anything. I came to class and it was almost empty. Just the lecturer and two other girls doing their homework while waiting for the other class to begin. My timetable was screwed, and supposedly the class started a half hour before. Luckily not many would know what happened to me. Ngee-hee-hee.

And then there was I.T. class. I wonder why it's included in the package. Well, at least they teach you how to open your own website. But wouldn't you rather hire a professional if you actually want a website to advertise your company and whatnot? Hmm. Anyway, it was at the computer lab, so I guess the experience isn't as bad as yesterday, where they crammed 80+ students in 1 lecture hall. Nightmare.

Also, I've recently found out how to use photoshop for editing pictures during my free time(let's say, 3-4 hours everyday?). Let me post a before and after thingie. :3

WALAH YA ALLAH BING BANG BUNG!!!!!

Fine, maybe I'm still not so good at it. But at least I know how to remove matasepetness. I swear Sarah isn't always like that. :(

I think I want to have a nap before my 4.30 class. Another 2 hours. Bugger. Hopefully the canteen is still open at that time. If not, I go hungry today.

Mentally worn out,

Missing Home.. Again..

Why are these outbursts of giving up always attacking my already weakened persona? I can't stand living like this, living everyday wishing I was home instead of here.

I want to eat every meal of the day with my parents.
I want to sleep in my old bed with my old wool blanket.
I want to talk with my parents while we watch Astro together.
I want to fall asleep on the couch whenever I feel like it.
I want to be able to say goodnight to my parents personally again.
I want to go shopping for groceries with my parents every Sunday.
I want to go to church with my father and pray for my family.
I want to sit at the back seat of the car listening to my parents talk.
I want to be able to see my parents, my granma and my cousin.
I want to be there incase they need my help for anything.
I want to refill my mother's water bottle so she doesn't go thirsty.
I want to laze around the house and be around people I love.
I want to end my day curling up in my bed with 2 blankets.

I want to go home.

I pray to God to make this easier for me. I want to give up and leave this place so badly.

Emotionally drained,
The Milkman

First Day of School (2008).

Have a 2-hour break right now. Before this I had Physics, then English, then IT.

Physics was okay. Felt kind of stupid when the lecturer asked me what the S.I. unit of volume was, because I had completely forgot what it was. So I dumbassedly asked the girl sitting beside me and she told me the answers. Why doesn't everyone just FORGET?! D: Feeling of stupidity is going to consume me, I'm sure of it. Rarghhhh. Even so, the lecturer was good. Very friendly and makes faces at awkward moments. o.o"

English left much to be desired, really. But I guess we couldn't blame him, it was his first time teaching at Swinburne and he did not have access to the faculty resource room to photocopy, so I guess it's not his fault that he tried to talk his way through class about random things. There was this one question that he asked everyone. Something about any companies we know of in Sarawak that is linked to biotechnology. No one said anything for like, 5-7 minutes. He was still there asking, "So?.. Anyone?". It's kind of disturbing when you think about it.

I.T. class was really packed with students from all 1st semester courses. Of course, not all of them were there, but I had to pick the class with the most students picking that time slot. In all, there are 3 sessions per lesson, so if I missed an earlier one, I can just go to the next session. But I don't think I'm that type la.. The lecturer was okay, though the topic of discussion was very dull. Sitting positions and lighting and working conditions while using the computer and so on. It's like the auntie that keeps commenting on the way you sit. Very annoying in a way.

Also just finished two calls to both my parents. I guess I don't feel so bad now that I have some purpose while being here. Not sure about socializing, but that will come later in time for me, being the way I am. Before today, I had sudden bursts of sadness that just choked me. It's not that I didn't want to feel the way I did, but I thought I was able to control it. Very scary, your emotions. Praying to God every night before I sleep, the only thing on my mind is that He keeps my family safe and healthy. I hope He does.

I guess I'd better get some rest before the next class at 2.30. I suppose staying on campus has it's perks, being able to come back to your room whenever you like without troubling your parents. It's just the occupants that really annoy me. It's like they've never seen a door, and bang on it like they think it's made of rock, so that the other side can hear that someone is looking for them. It's so freaking unnecessary. Why don't they get styrofoam doors so they can bash the door open each time they want to ask someone to walk outside. GEEZ.

Getting increasingly annoyed as I type,

Dear Parents,..

I will think of both of you everyday.

I hope you two take care of each other.

I wish I could change my decision.

I want to go home so badly now.

I miss home and home cooked food.

I thank God for this opportunity anyway.

But even more,

I thank God for blessing me with both of you.

My mum told me what the lyrics mean. I was just listening to the song because I liked it. Now that I know the meaning, I love it even more. Just something I want to share with all of you.

Lost and Lonely,
The Milkman

I Miss Home..

My parents flew back to Miri today. Feel crushed and empty. Wish there was a little more time to spend together. Feel so regretful not fully appreciating the time we had together while they were still in Kuching. I'd better stop typing about it. I'll save it for the next post. Getting that choking feeling.

Had orientation yesterday. Met Paulina's brother, Petrus. We also ended up on the same team. I named it 'Cow Farm'. Don't ask why. I was really thinking 'Cow Shit', but my self-restraint got the best of me. I also did not really take many pictures that day. Just a few here and there. :(

Here are the staff involved. The student council members were also there, but I didn't take pictures of them. Their president, as expected, had an ang-mo accent when speaking english. I don't know why, but I kind of dislike it. But whatever, he apparently does a good job at whatever he does. :/

Bla bla bla. Been there, been there, been there.

Thats the Springs to the left. Supposedly it is the property of some guys from Sibu. Sure Foochow guys wan. Sort of sick of it because whenever we go there, it's always for shopping for things I need. It's not really a place to sit down and rest anyway. The food outlets there are the usual, more expensive stuff like franchise coffee and costly nibbles and tidbits. I think I've mentioned it before that I got myself a Sushi King 10% discount card. The food there isn't as expensive as the Japanese food in Miri. In Miri, two pieces of Unagi(eel) on rolled rice would cost you maybe RM4-5, but here it's only RM2-3 or something like that. Forgot. Wah, I just noticed I typed so much just on this topic. :x Moving on.

Water tanks(?) and DiGi umbrellas. The hostel here only sells DiGi reloads. What about Maxis la. What's more, the Maxis connection is totally nulled in my room. No connection at all. Can get the stupid missed calls notification sms, but cannot recieve sms. Whereas DiGi has on/off connection. This means most of the time nobody can contact me while I'm in my room. I feel so secluded. :(

So bored now. It's only 6p.m. I think I'll just have a crap session and read a book. If you're wondering what I had for dinner, it was Maggi noodles. The 2 cafeterias don't open on Sundays. I will also have my first classes tomorrow. And the first class is Physics. I didn't sign up for Physics. I was so shocked because I just wanted Biology and Chemistry.
Feeling doomed.

Starving for Astro,
The Milkman

Been To The Beach?

Damai Lagoon specifically. Though the hotel is now called Damai Puri or something like that. What the flying fook does puri mean? I know a bad word that sounds something like it. :x

Today is the day I sleep in my hostel room for the 1st time. Tomorrow I'll have orientation. Hopefully I get something out from it. Also hope I'm not the dumbest there. T3T

My parents decided to go for a car ride to Damai Lagoon for sightseeing and some lunch. Let me tell you beforehand, that the food is super expensive. Some dishes aren't worth the money, truthfully speaking. Like my mom's chicken rice. It was RM22. ++. HELLO.

It seemed as though we got lost. We did at one time though. Ended up somewhere near a mosque. Our borrowed Mercedes was like, trying to drive out into the main road against the flow of motorbikes going to afternoon prayer. Why must go mosque? No kiblat at home ar?

We finally reached Damai Puri. Kinda alot of people. But most of them brought their own water and probably their own food. Cheap shits. EAT THE CHICKEN RICE LA. ONLY RM22 WAD. ++.

1st shot of the beach. Not as crowded as you would expect. I walked down there after lunch, barefooted so I don't get sand on my slippers, and let me tell you, I had to tahan screaming. The sand was so freaking hot you can cook an egg on it. Well, if you crack the egg on it la. But then it won't be edible oso.. So, what's the point right? Dunno. Sorry, talking to myself. Again.

Swimming pool. Got some stupid ang-stupid-fat-burger-eaters-mo's tanggal their baju to show their saggy boobs in their bikini bra thingie and their jiggly man boobs. What hell you think you are? Pigs not allowed in the pool. Later the water not halal for everyone else. Not just the Malays. Angmo freaks. Eu understooded my ingerand bo?

Coastline stretch. Very little people leh. If not for the hot sand, should be nice. I wonder why Tanjung Beach sand never so hot. Hrmm.

Rocks. Not as good as the place where I usually sit in Tanjung beach. :(

Nearby jungle. You give me free jungle trekking session oso I dowan.

Restaurant. Probably the only place where you can get chicken rice for RM22. ++. Luckily, my mum's friend paid for our lunch. Lucky huh? I had the boring spaghetti bolognaise while my dad had fish & chips. All of those 3 dishes costed RM20+ each. ++. But the portions were big la.

Main building. Open air wan. I was wondering, if the wing is SUPER strong and blowing directly toward the building, will the glass windows all burst and shatter, because its seriously windy and the design is so flat. No aerodynamics ar?

Overall, I give it a 7/10. Tanjung beach still retains its 9/10. -1 point for brown water. :S

I'll really miss my spot on the rocks. Sitting by myself and looking out to the horizon as the waves crash just below me. *sigh* Mishu mishu Miri. <3

I guess that's all I can post up. Posted up like, 2 posts before this. Crazy. And I have the pics from Miri again. Aiya. There was this roast wild boar from CNY dinner that I wanted to label as Kristine. I guess it would be kind of awkward to use it now. :( Next time Kristine, don't worry, I'm still thinking of you. As a roasted wild boar. Huhm. 'Wild'.

CB. Why they keep slamming their doors? Miss mummy ar? No nid so ganas la. Haiyo.. No mood want to put all those bold, italics and enlargementing(huhm.) already. Don't say it doesn't matter. It adds some sense of funny to the post. D-uh.

Speed Blogging.

Alright, my dad bought me 1 hour of WiFi again. I swear I didn't ask for it. I'm not a compulsive liar like some people. :) i r good boy. Well, maybe in my own mind. Hee~

Anyways, I now have exactly over 14 minutes to type out a whole blog post. Hence the title of the post. If I don't get it in time, I will seriously swear in front of my parents. Gah.

Been waking up with really messy hair(like there's any difference). My right ear keeps getting snagged on the pillows or something. My 5th(yes, 5th! :P) ear piercing(not that I have 5 ears, dumbass) has been hurting like hell ever since I took out the iron stud used with the piercing gun. So regretful of that. Now, everytime it moves, I get this horrible jolt of pain through my right ear reaching all the way to the other ear. It's like the nerves are conspiring against me for defilling my sacred body(sacred. aha. ahahaha. so full of shitballs. ahahahaha).

Here's what my right ear looks like now. I'm not showing off or anything, but I really think my ears are pretty. :3 ahaha. AHAHAHAHAHA.

Type your opinions about it in the chatbox thing. I won't do anything if you hate it though. Just hope you'd just screw yourself over if you do. :)
Omg, 5 minutes. Time for the bolding, the italicking, and the enlargementing.

enlargementing. ahaha. AHAHAHAHAHA. *ehem* :)

What shit hotel charges RM10 per hour for WIRELESS connection. *swear word*, *swear word*, *swear word*

*swear word again*

Even the more expensive hotel I've been to, charged RM5 per hour on CABLE. What hell shit price is this. Need renovate ar? Renovate this. *finger*

Shoes.

Omg. Shoes.

Let's get some-

Haih, so bored here. Didn't take any pictures at all. All I can say is, the people in my uni are really hawt. All of them are like, higher class ah-bengs and ah-lians. Not the cheap-ass-shit-i-shop-for-clothes-at-dua-puluh-sen types you see in Miri. No lion king hair, no lame shuffle pants for people who can't even spell 'carrot'. I'm serious. I've seen 'karot' in essays before. All the ah-lians and ah-bengs are all the genuine Taiwan-ish types. Hair that looks like it's been done by personal hair-stylists every morning. My eyes salivate when I see them. There are exceptions of course. But even those are better than the cheap-ass-shit-i-shop-for-clothes-at-dua-puluh-sen ones in Miri. Happy happy.

Anyway, will post pictures once I settle down in campus. Supposedly Swinburne is one of only 2 places in the whole of Kuching to have free WiFi. Go to INTI la. You know who you are. INTIan. INTI. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. :)

I'm thinking of being the freak this time round. Like that's any difference from before. Hopefully, I make friends who are as freaky too. Hmm, though I want to be friends with the staff. Like this, can use the photocopy machines and all that for free. I'll have to do some favours for them la, but it'll all pay off when I'm the only student to be able to use the staff room facilities. Omg, addicted to prefect benefits. D:

Went to the Springs today. Holy shiat, the place was huge. Parkson loses to it a hundredfold. Got all these upper-class chain stores everywhere. The shops might be selling the high-end-expensive stuff mostly, but when you look at the products, you will really think it's worth the money. The choices are so good, that I think if the girls were here, they'd spend hours in just 1 shop. In the end, not buying anything as usual...

Damn the RM10 WiFi. I can't believe I paid them RM20 for 2 hours. That would be sufficient for 10 hours in the CC pls. Faster connection summore. I've been SCAMMED.

4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. BOOM !!

Today was so freakie shiat assh biotching 'ohmyfarkinggosh'.

It's the day SPM results are out. Seriously speaking, I guess I deserve my grades. So, don't you wanna know what they are?

*drumroll unavailable due to ungivingadamnness*

4 As
3 Bs
2 Cs
& 1 D

NICE RIGHT??!! 4321. I'm surrounded by nice numbers. People like me, with apparent screwed up memory need these kinds of numbers. Or else I'd forget where I live and who to call if I got lost either way.

Here are some random pictures. I really cant think of anything snide to say as an introduction. Argh. Sure 'xoxo' in uni.

Here's our hall, pathetic as always. We line up here to get our results and certs. Nice to see some of the teachers again. Though, disappointed I got a freaking B for Biology, even though I studied like shit for an A. And I don't mean study no shit, I really study got shit okay. The shit not strong enough. Damn damn damn, I was wrong. I deserve an A for Biology. Argh.

I would really love to ask, "So, before I sign this, is there any possibility you can get me a few more As? How about RM50 each? Yes? No? More?" That's Lydia's almost non-existant arm by the way.

Hopeful Grace. I could, like other bloggers, translate the meaning of that wall sign for you to understand, but I won't. Because I don't want to. And that I forgot what azam meant. I 'THINK' it means hope. Maybe. Screw my BM, I got a C.

Murderous Grace. After finding out her results. Won't be pulanging with any kesyukuran today. Her's might be the most disappointing. Not because she failed or got lousy grades, they're considered good, just that.. You ask her yourself.

Obviously, I have nothing to be proud of, but honestly, do I really deserve an A for History? I cheated on it once during an exam and got caught. Needless to say I still passed for the very first time since form 4 started. I'm dead serious. I have not passed History ONCE after the questions weren't all objective anymore. Harder to copy ba. You know.

Anyway, I'm posting because I got bored. Been watching Youtube for the past hour. Oh lawd, I'm turning into a Youtuber. How much worse can I get. Youtubing. Wow, that sounds so wrong in many ways. :x

Still, take a peek at these cool vids. I did not just use cool. OMFG. POTENTIAL YOUTUBERRR??

Now, I expect you to fucking watch it and don't think it's some boring lame ass 'save the arctic seals' video. And the guy/girl reminds me very much of Samuel. So do yourself a favor and watch it. Duh.

Here's one of the best American Idol performances. Und she's Aeer-reesh(Irish, you douchebag, duh) Carly Smithson singing "Come Together". Love her.

I guess that's it for this post. Oh, and I just found out something not long before started this post. I just found out a classmate of mine is actually in a weird ass relationship with someone I know(-ish; meaning I don't know him that well anyway). It's so freaking unexpected. Miri is so damn small. This might sound really random, but if you knew the whole story, which I don't really want to disclose, name included, you'd be really dumbfucked too. Oh, and they're both guys. The world just got a little more gayer. Sorry if the words got mini-fied. Frankly, I just don't want to make it so obvious to all you gay-haters out there. But screw your eyes. SCREW.

Yours ungivingadamnly,
The Milkman
